Meet the Team at Mt Eliza Family Chiropractic
The Mt.Eliza Family Chiropractic Clinic has six chiropractors, three myotherapists and five chiropractic assistants as part of our wonderful team.
Our chiropractors have a combined experience of over 100 years in chiropractic. With such a huge volume of experience on hand you can feel sure that your family is in the right place. For over 30 years Mt.Eliza Family Chiropractic has provided care to members of our local and extended community including Mt.Eliza, Frankston, Mornington, Karingal, Carrum Downs, Somerville, Seaford, Baxter, Cranbourne, Pearcedale and beyond.
Dr Glenn Maginness
Infant and Child Chiropractor
Dr Glenn Maginness graduated in 1986 from RMIT University as a Doctor of Chiropractic and has lived, worked in Mt. Eliza ever since.
Dr. Maginness’ special interest, in fact his passion is infants and children’s health and since 2002 he has exclusively seen only children as patients. Glenn holds a Masters degree in Chiropractic Paediatrics and is one of only a handful of Chiropractors Australia wide to have achieved this degree. In fact Glenn holds seminars throughout Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa and the U.K., lecturing to other chiropractors in the field of Chiropractic Paediatrics.
Glenn lives here in Mt.Eliza with his family, wife Lindy and three children Tom, Hayley and Brianna. Glenn has been in Mt.Eliza now for over 30 years and hence his roots are firmly planted in in his community – and he will be here for many years to come.
Dr Jemima Hoult
Dr. Jemima Hoult also has an interest in infant and child health. Dr. Jemima graduated from RMIT University in 1999 with a double degree in a Bachelor of Applied Science (Clinical Science) and a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and she started in our practice in 2002. She has since focused her practice on family health with special attention to infants and children, as well as women’s health.
Dr George Cipurovski
Dr George Cipurovski graduated from RMIT University in 1996. He has previously lectured at RMIT University Faculty of complementary medicine (Chiropractic Unit), and at the Australian College of Natural Medicine and has also held an appointment as the Chiropractic Consultant with the Transport Accident Commission. Prior to completing his Chiropractic degrees George completed a double degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology and hence has a wide range of experience and knowledge. George has a special interest in managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, work related and motor vehicle related injuries, as well as optimizing sports performance through Chiropractic.
Dr. Laura Lawrence
Dr. Laura Lawrence is a graduate of RMIT in Melbourne and has been a member of our team for over a decade. Laura’s father, also a chiropractor has been practicing for over 45 years. Laura has a special interest in female development especially teenage growth and posture. Her prime focus in practice has always been on all aspects of womens health with particular emphasis on support during pregnancy as well as breastfeeding and infant care. Laura utilises many different techniques and maintains her clinical experience by attending post-graduate seminars and conferences on health, nutrition and exercise throughout Australia.
Dr Robert Warren
Dr Robert Warren has a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Neurology, a Bachelor of Complimentary Medicine in Chiropractic, as well as a Masters Degree in Clinical Chiropractic. Dr Rob is always widening his knowledge and clinical expertise by attending postgraduate nutrition, and sports seminars and conferences throughout Australia. Dr Rob has a special interest in nutrition, and holds monthly classes teaching families in our community on the importance of eating well.
Dr Hayley Maginness
Dr Hayley Maginness graduated from RMIT University with a bachelor degree in Health Science (Chiropractic) and a Masters degree in Chiropractic. Dr. Hayley has previously cared for patients in the northern suburbs from a clinic in Bundoora. Hayley comes from a family boasting four chiropractors and two current chiropractic students, and as such is an enthusiastic and passionate advocate for maximising your health through chiropractic and a healthy lifestyle.
Dr Brianna Maginness
Dr Brianna Maginness graduated with Distinction from RMIT University with a double Bachelor Degree in Health Science and Applied Science (Chiropractic). Dr Brianna graduated at the top of her class and was awarded the Academic Excellence award for her 5 year course. Brianna comes from a family of chiropractors and is passionate about health and wellness. She has completed post graduate studies in Chiropractic Paediatrics, and also has a special interest in Womens Health. Dr Brianna utilises a variety of management techniques, including Cold Laser, and she continues to attend post-graduate seminars to constantly build on her knowledge and education.
Kerryn Sullivan has completed an Advanced Diploma Myotherapy and a Masters in Musculoskeletal Management (RMIT). Kerryn has been working as a Myotherapist since 2003 and enjoys treating people of all ages and stages of life, including pregnancy. Kerryn is also currently studying to become a Chiropractor at RMIT University. Kerryn has been involved in Calisthenics for most of her life, competing successfully at both state and national competitions.
Kerryn has extensive experience with all aspects of massage therapy including trigger point therapy, soft tissue stretching and strengthening programs, as well as exercise rehabilitation.
Danielle also has an Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy), which includes proficiency in dry needling, cupping, exercise rehabilitation, TENS and bio-feedback. Danni has a special interest in working with athletes and improving sports performance. With sportsmen and women Danni focuses specifically on rehabilitation, injury prevention, as well as maximising athletic performance. Danni recently participated in a study looking at the effect of massage on knee mobility. The results were very positive, clearly demonstrating the potential amazing benefits of myotherapy for both elite athletes, as well as for ‘weekend joggers’.
Serge has worked for over 20 years in the health and wellness field. He studied at the London College of Massage in the late 1990’s where his career began as a personal masseur for a touring European acrobatic circus!
Serge has extensive experience with all aspects of myotherapy including dry needling, cupping, exercise rehabilitation and kinesiology. Serge has also recently completed a Diploma in Kinesiology which he is now incorporating into his treatments
Over the last few years Serge has worked with a number of sporting teams, including the Australian Defence Force Football Teams; both male and female. Serge provides wholistic assessment, diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of muscular and joint conditions that may arise from any sporting, overuse or workplace injuries.
Remedial Massage Therapist
Troy has lived on the Mornington Peninsula his whole life, enjoying the outdoors and the Peninsula lifestyle. He grew up playing sports – football, athletics, cross country, surfing and skateboarding and because of this has developed a keen interest in how the body works and how to take care of it.
Having represented both Victoria and Australia in junior athletics and cross country championships, he has built a first-hand appreciation of the demands of athletes. Importantly this has helped him apply this knowledge to people from all walks of life who want to maintain and improve their physical health in whatever pursuit is important to them.
He enjoys helping a wide variety of clients achieve their goals – ranging from athletes with specific issues, to younger or older clients requiring injury rehabilitation, to assisting the general population in their recreational or work roles.
Troy holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage from Holmesglen TAFE, as well as a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy from Chisholm Institute.
